The calendar for November commemorates Coronation Day, on 1st November.
Into the 16th Year of the Reign of His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the people of Bhutan already recognise that we are living in unprecedented times. We are fortunate beyond imagining, to be part of an accumulating legacy.
May the people of Bhutan, blessed with the guidance and leadership of a Dharma King, find in ourselves the wisdom and the courage to contribute to achieving our King’s aspirations for this land and her people.
We offer our gratitude to the protector deities of Pelden Drukpa, for being alive in such a time, during the reign of such a King.
